Are You Spiritual? How Do You Show Up in Real-Life Events?
Are you a seeker of truth? Do you find yourself drawn to spirituality, exploring teachings from the past and present, constantly reading, researching, and learning about these topics?
I certainly am. However, I’ve come to the conclusion that no matter how much knowledge one gains on a mental level or how much certain truths resonate within, the truest and ultimate test of spirituality is how one responds to real-life events—especially during moments of stress.
When we are faced with circumstances that trigger us, when our emotional “cup” is full, it’s not enough to simply know the teachings. What truly counts is how we respond—what comes out of our mouths, the actions we take, the depth of our feelings, and whether we can keep our hearts open. It’s about the deep breath we take before we react.
The Ultimate Test of Spirituality: Real-Life Challenges
I’ve noticed this so much in my own life recently, as well as with friends, clients, and more recently, on a collective level within my country. Today, I feel called to explore this collective level through my personal lens, particularly given my current geographic location.
I’ve been in Lebanon for the past 10 days, right as the latest regional events have unfolded. Lebanon, the country where I took my first breath, has experienced significant change over the past 50 years. Once a peaceful, multicultural, and multi-faith society—where communities respected one another, shared joy and sorrow, and expanded together—it seemed poised to transcend religious divides and embrace a collective consciousness of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Now, it’s a country torn apart by war, division, and polarization. Instead of peace, respect, and unity, the focus has shifted to differences and separation.

Reflecting on How We Got Here
I won’t dive deeply into how we arrived at this point, but, at a high level, the causes are clear: external power interference, division, thirst for control, ego-driven agendas, financial inequality, greed, manipulation, and a closing of hearts.
My spiritual quest has led me to explore concepts about the future—about a “New Earth” where people live in harmony, share skills and resources, serve others (including animals and the planet), and embrace wholeness, unity, and oneness for the greater good.

Healing Collective Wounds: A Spiritual Perspective
How do we undo the harm caused by wars, grief, injustice, and greed on a collective level?
Here, opinions differ. Some advocate for further division, with independent regions based on faith. Others call for unity across the country, although external political and economic influences have dampened the sense of nationalism. Regardless of political views or judgments on the actions of those targeted by bombs, there is the undeniable reality of collateral damage—displaced people who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.

From my perspective, I try to view things energetically, with Nikola Tesla’s words in mind:
“If you wish to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”

Being Present: A Personal Journey
I often wonder why I chose to be here at this specific time. A few years ago, this question led me to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and eventually becoming a healer and spiritual hypnotist. Why was I born in a war-torn country? What had I done to deserve this?
Fast forward to now, and I’ve noticed that some of my friends have also returned to Lebanon at this time. I believe this is not a coincidence. Vibrationally, I feel that our presence helps to balance the energies of fear, hatred, revenge, and violence. We bring calmness, healing intentions, and protection, and if our vibrations are strong enough, they can ripple out in ways we cannot fully grasp.
Collective Impact of Energy Work
Studies support this concept. For instance, the Washington DC Meditation Project found that group meditation significantly reduced violent crime trends in the U.S. by 23.3%. Research from Maharishi University of Management also showed that large groups practicing Transcendental Meditation™ correlated with a decrease in crime rates. These findings suggest that large-scale meditation practices can reduce social violence.
Although our actions may not be consciously coordinated, I believe our presence here can have a similar effect. We act as “beacons” in our respective neighborhoods, radiating calm and healing energy.
Energy Healing on a Collective Level
As an energy healer, I use my skills similarly to how I would work with individuals, but on a collective scale. I envision the country as a collective entity, setting my intention to bring peace, harmony, and cleanse negative energies for the best outcome for all.
I haven’t yet delved deeply into the energy centres of the collective, but if I did, I would expect imbalances in the lower chakras—particularly the base chakra, which relates to safety and security, and the sacral chakra, connected to emotional wounds and generational trauma. I would also look for imbalances in the solar plexus chakra, where excessive ego from certain groups contrasts with the submissiveness of others.
Healing the collective would involve addressing the grief in the heart chakra, the unsaid truths of the throat chakra, the brainwashing and mental fog of the brow chakra, and the spiritual disconnection found in the crown chakra. If the collective is ready, I would open secondary energy centers, inviting the grounding vibrations of Mother Earth, higher wisdom, and universal love to flow in.

The Power of Intentions and Nature
While I don’t currently have access to my electronic prayer wheel, which uses sacred geometry, sound, and light to bring harmony, I still rely on the power of intention to activate these energies. I also connect with nature, particularly the trees around me, channeling high vibrations and asking them to spread this energy through their network.
Embracing Contradictions
At the same time, I find myself tested. Displaced families have arrived in my quiet neighborhood, and I feel conflicted. On one hand, I feel concern—worries about safety, fear of change, and even prejudices that arise when we perceive others as different. On the other hand, I empathize deeply with these families, recognizing their suffering.
Would I welcome displaced families into my home? No, not at this moment. But I have contributed goods, thoughts, and prayers. I acknowledge that I still have work to do before I can fully embody a 5D consciousness of unconditional love and acceptance. Yet, I also remind myself to be kind, understanding that I am evolving at my own pace.
Is a fully 5D consciousness meant to integrate 3D concerns like fear and separation? Perhaps not, or so I convince myself. As I write this, I am still a spiritual seeker on my own path.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
With love and light,
Stephanie
